Dear SCC,
After the election, Aaron del Mar, Co-Chair of the Illinois Republican Party, expressed his intention to step back from his role after the new year to explore and potentially pursue new opportunities. I have asked him to continue serving as co-chair until a successor is named and the transition is finalized. He has graciously agreed. I am deeply grateful for Aaron’s dedicated service to the party and look forward to working alongside him as we continue our efforts to Make Illinois Red Again.
The 8th District Congressional Committee voted on a candidate to fill the vacancy. The committee members cast a weighted vote in accord with the voting strength of their respective counties. I am pleased to announce that Debbie Kanarowski has joined our State Central Committee, effective immediately.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Debbie. We are confident that her insights and contributions will help guide the Illinois Republican Party to even greater success.
We look forward to introducing Debbie during our upcoming SCC meeting on January 11 and encourage you to reach out personally at kanarowski@xxxxxxx.com to share your warm welcome.
Thank you for your continued dedication and support.
Sincerely,
Kathy
