Jim Carris hosts a secret Charlie Kirk event in an attempt to fool Republican voters

Republican candidate for Congress Jim Carris advertises to the public that he is pro-abortion and pro-gun regulation.

However, after Carris got caught on a hidden camera video professing that he was unsure that he was voting for Donald Trump, Republican voters became enraged. 2022 Republican nominee Joe Severino recently launched a last-second write-in bid.

On Monday September 23rd, Jim Carris hosted a secret Charlie Kirk event to seemingly showcase his Republicanism.

MAGA mover Charlie Kirk is famously known as a voice against abortion and in favor of gun ownership. Kirk, the founder of TPUSA, is one of the biggest supporters of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. Hosting Charlie Kirk can be seen as an attempt to regain the trust of Illinois Republican voters.

IL RNC Committeeman Dean White shared photos of this secret event on his Committeeman Facebook page. Quickly after posting, White would take the photo down. With increasingly jaded voters on all sides, Jim Carris may find it to difficult to successfully walk the political tightrope. And with Dean White as his Illinois national committeeman, Carris might as well be running on a political tightrope with scissors.
