Upcoming ILGOP State Central committee meeting will be open to the public
The meeting between the seventeen-member GOP State central committee will occur on Shabbat in Yorkville, home of former US Speaker of the House and alleged serial child rapist Dennis Hastert.
In a blow to Jews and Seventh-day Christians, the Illinois GOP will be holding their state central committee meeting on the second Shabbat in January. As of the time of this article, the meeting will be open to the public, and the details of the meeting are below:

Republicans are a super minority in the State legislature, a minority in the state Judicial branch, and have no statewide executive positions. Some would argue that because of Republicans' lack of electoral representation, the seventeen member GOP state central committee is the most influential force in the Illinois Republican Party.
The governing body in communism is called "the central committee. "
Like in communist states, the central committee is not elected by voters but by (often crooked) local committeemen. The seventeen central committees' duty is to elect a state chair, and they have a crucial say in allocating resources and attention to Republican candidates and causes.
Although the state central committee has no incentive to listen to constituents, it has proven at the state convention that it is susceptible to public sentiment. After all, Many members of the state central committee have other political aspirations and/or revenue streams.

Controversially, the state central committee elected Kathy Salvi, a perennial failed candidate and personal injury lawyer, as state chair.
Many resources and attention were allocated to liberal candidates with no chance of winning—Jim Carris, Bob Fioretti, and Mary Cole are three such examples—while Donald Trump and many candidates who came close to winning were virtually ignored.
Kathy Salvi, the ILGOP chair, should face political consequences for a disastrous misalocation of resources, such as removal.

Yorkville is the home of Dennis Hastert, who, for a near decade, was the most influential voice in the Illinois republican party. But he is also someone described by his sentencing judge, federal judge Thomas Durkin, as a "Serial child molester." Dennis Hastert represents the Illinois Republican Party at low.

And from a purely electoral perspective, the Illinois Republican Party is at its lowest point in over a century.
If you do not recognize Saturday as Shabbat, we urge you to attend the meeting with other activists.
